I was looking for an old Unsolved Mysteries TV episodes on Youtube that was a Wanted" story that I recall being very similar to the movie Jeepers Creepers. The video post claimed it inspired portions of the horror film Jeepers Creepers. Check it out and you'll see it indeed has major similarities. IMDB "confirmed" that eye witness reports on this real crime were inspiration. It's pretty interesting

Hello all, if you have been a long time visitor of this blog you should be very aware that I am a big movie soundtrack fan. I'm especially fond of the 70s and 80s stuff and a big artist from that era was John Carpenter. He has some truly classic score's he's done for his films. Probably not a week goes by were I don't listen to some of his audio delights. If you are soundtrack fan of that same era then chances are you heard about John releasing a new album called "Lost Themes" that at first I thought was cues from past films that he never used and ending up on the "cutting room" floor, but it appears this is not the case. It's some new stuff he's been working on, but the vibe has that vintage Carpenter feel no doubt. Of course news of the album isn't necessarily new, but the the release of an official music video to the track "Night" from the album is new. The visuals in this video and the track bring back that great feeling many fans had watching the his films. The score was always every bit as important as what you were seeing. I highly recommend checking it out and pick up the album too if you dig it.

I just heard about a fan made film called Predator: Dark Ages. Set during the Crusades, the faith & fighting skills of a group of Templar Knights is put to the test when they encounter the Predator. Their battle is the thing Myths and Legends are born from. Check out the trailer below. it looks pretty cool. Production value looks nice on this. I think it's great to see people taking the Predator aliens and putting them in a different time period instead of modern times. Dark Horse Comics have explored this idea a bit in some of their books. To see it done in live action looks really fun.
The film stars Adrian Bouchet, Amed Hashimi, Sabine Crossen, Ben loyd-Holmes, Jon Campling, Joe Egan and Philip Lane.
Written and directed by James Bushe.
