Godzilla's Greatest Enemies

The new Godzilla movie has just hit theaters. From what I've seen in the teasers and trailers there is a new monster for him to do battle with. What that monster is I don't know. I'm going to stay away from reviews or discussions on the movie so that when I eventually see it, it will be with fresh eyes.

Ever since I was a little kid I've really enjoyed watching Godzilla movies. Honestly the thing that makes them so much fun is watching the fights he has with all those fantastic beasts the creative minds at Toho came up with. These days, it's those fights that stand out more so than story. If I put on a Godzilla movie today, I can't help but just fast-forward to the action! So below for your viewing pleasure, I want to show you who are my personal favorite enemies of Godzilla.

King Ghidorah

Wonder what other monsters I hold in high esteem? Check out the rest of the list!

1987 Pirate Broadcast Hijacked Dr. Who Episode in Chicago

Here is a weird news story I came across. I don't know if I would call it creepy, but certainly very strange. In 1987 a Chicago area television news station was broadcasting the the popular British television show Dr. Who episode "Horror of Fang Rock". During the broadcast an individual(s) overpowered the signal and appeared on the screen for 90 seconds. He was disguised in a Max Headroom mask and was dancing around and speaking in distorted speech. At one point he drops his pants and someone begins to spank him with a fly swatter. At the time the station had no idea how the signal was able to be hijacked and who do it.Very strange, especially at that time, I wouldn't think the average person would be able to accomplish this.

Although, I think perhaps the strangest thing about the video is that a viewer who is interviewed on the following news story. Some viewer was so upset he claims he "wanted to bust" his TV set. Seems pretty extreme.. I mean how is he going to catch the following weeks thrilling Dr. Who episode.
